Foro di dialogo italo-francese
On the occasion of the 2004 official bilateral summit, Mr Chirac and Mr Berlusconi launched the Italian-French Forum. Its purpose is to provide intensive dialogue among civil societies from both countries and to promote broader cooperation in the economic, political, scientific and cultural fields.
The last edition took place last February in Rome, in the presence of the two Presidents (Mr Berlusconi and Mr Sarkozy) and several French and Italian Ministers.
