COURSES

The four courses that form the Advanced Diploma "Emergencies and Humanitarian Assistance" are:

• Humanitarian assistance: quality standards ( Milan , Italy , June 9 th -10 th )
• Working in conflict (Milan, Italy, June 16 th - 17 th)
• Coordination of the multilateral response to humanitarian crises (Geneva, Switzerland, 3 rd - 7 th July)
• Humanitarian assistance following major natural disasters - reality, problems, prospects (Geneva, Switzerland, 3 rd - 7 th July)

Each course is of 10 sessions of one-and-a-half hours each.

The timetable for the courses are :

• "Humanitarian assistance: quality standards" - to take place at the Headquarters of ISPI (Milan, Italy) on the 9 th -10 th June from 9.30AM until 6.30PM
• "Working in conflict" - to take place at the Headquarters of ISPI (Milan, Italy) on the 16 th -17 th June from 9.30AM until 6.30PM
• "Coordination of the multilateral response to humanitarian crises" - to take place in the John Knox centre in Geneva, Switzerland , from the 3 rd - 7 th July inclusive
• "Humanitarian assistance following major natural disasters - reality, problems, prospects" - to take place in the John Knox Centre in Geneva, Switzerland, from the 3 rd - 7 th July inclusive

All classes will be held in English.

To sign up to the Advanced Diploma it is necessary to complete an application form , to be sent via email to segreteria.corsi@ispionline.it or by fax to +39-02-8633 13264 by the 19 th May 2006.

The Advanced Diploma has limited places available, and will only take place if an adequate number of enrolments is met.

For confirmation of participation, it is necessary to pay the entire fee by the 19 th May 2006 . The administrative office will then acknowledge the enrolment by email or by phone.
