Abhijnan Rej is a Fellow in the Strategic Studies Programme. His current research revolves around Indian grand strategy, India’s China and Pakistan policies, and theory and practice of limited wars. His secondary research interests include conventional and nuclear deterrence, and international institutions.
Abhijnan’s recent publications have included works on Indian grand strategy, multilateral regimes, geo-economics, intra-state dynamics in Pakistan, and Chinese military modernisation. He has professional experience as a quantitative finance specialist and as a policy economist. Trained as a mathematical physicist, Abhijnan has also published papers on mathematical problems in high-energy physics.
