Gianluca Pastori, PhD, is Associate Professor, History of political relations between North America and Europe, Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, Catholic University of Milan. He also teaches History of military institutions and security systems in the same Faculty, and History of the international relations and institutions in the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, Catholic University, Brescia. He is member of the Faculty of the Master in Diplomacy and the Master in International Cooperation, ISPI. In ISPI he also co-ordinates the courses on ‘Le politiche energetiche dell’Unione Europea' and 'La politica estera americana nel mondo multipolare’.
He published extensively – in Italy and abroad – on a wide range of issues regarding military history, security politics, history of international relations, US foreign policy, energy politics and international politics.
