Lorenzo Fruganti

Research Assistant Middle East and North Africa

Lorenzo Fruganti is a Research Assistant at the ISPI MENA Centre. He holds a Bachelor’s in International and Diplomatic Sciences and a Master’s in Diplomacy and International Cooperation from the University of Trieste, as well as a MSc in Middle East Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, University of London). Prior to joining ISPI, he worked as a Blue Book trainee at the European Commission’s DG NEAR.

Lorenzo’s research interests include security-related issues in the MENA region, with a focus on radicalization processes, jihadi terrorism and violent extremism.
