Mattia Olivari

Mattia Olivari

Mattia Olivari is an Economist working in the OECD Innovation Policies for Space and Oceans Unit, in the Directorate for Science, Technology and Innovation (STI). His current research focuses on the assessment of socio-economic impacts of space policies, as well as on the analysis and development of economic and innovation indicators related to space industries. Mattia contributed to and authored several reports and scientific papers published internally to the OECD as well as in external journals. Before joining STI, in January 2016, Mattia worked at the OECD Development Centre (since 2013), dealing with assessment of policies targeting the developing world, in the fields of social capital, rural development and poverty reduction. He holds a BA and an Msc in Economics and Social Sciences with a major in quantitative methods from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
