Nicola Missaglia is ISPI's Communications and Publications Manager, as well as a Research Fellow at ISPI's Asia Centre, in charge of the India Desk. Before joining ISPI, he has served for several years as the Scientific Coordinator and Managing Editor for the international think tank Reset-Dialogues on Civilizations. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy and a Research Master’s degree in Political Theory and Contemporary History from Sciences Po Paris’ Doctoral School (France) and has extensive experience in managing projects in the MENA region and India. As a member of the International Association of Journalists (Brussels), he contributes to Italian and international magazines. He also takes part in research projects commissioned by the Italian Parliament and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and contributes to the annual issue of ISPI/Treccani’s Geopolitical Atlas. He also organizes ISPI's "International Lectures", a closed-door workshop series on global issues addressing experts and academics.
His research interests focus on nation-building processes, conflict and political transitions, identity politics, minorities and religious divides in the MENA region and South Asia.
