Europe: (Which) Growth Wanted?

immagine_pulita_conf.europa_7.02.jpg

The Ukraine war has fueled inflation and led to downward revisions of growth prospects in Europe. Recession might be just around the corner in 2023. However, the root causes of low growth in Europe go well beyond the war and are mainly due to an increasingly fragmented world. New and old barriers are putting to test the EU growth model with globalisation at its core. Is the EU fit for the challenges of today's and tomorrow's world economy? Which new and sustainable growth model is needed? From energy, to trade and investment, what are the new engines for a revived EU growth?

The conference will be held in Milan at Palazzo Clerici (via Clerici 5) on Tuesday 7 February from 15:00 to 17:00 CET. The event will be also streamed live on ISPI's website, Facebook page, YouTube channel and Twitter (English only).

Ispi has always been careful to ensure an inclusive working environment and to be attentive to gender diversity and to the plurality of voices represented in its initiatives. When this is not reflected in one of our publications or events, it is due to the unavailability of the consulted experts to participate or to challenges in identifying specific profiles in our network.
