The Eu in global reordering: carving out a new role for Europe

New powers and actors are emerging on today’s international scene, while the basic principles of the “Western” global order are being challenged. Faced with growing instability at its borders (from Ukraine to the Mediterranean) and economic and political tensions at home, Europe risks being increasingly regarded as a declining power. How to escape the fate of a marginalized Europe and revive its global role?

The International Conference has been promoted by ISPI, in cooperation with the Université libre de Bruxelles, in the context of GR:EEN (Global Reordering: Evolution through European Networks), the largest 7th Framework Programme project on the EU external dimension, including 16 Universities and Think tanks across the world.
