The public sector, companies and citizens seem inevitably bound to live with cyber risk for the next few years. Which strategies will allow a better management of this risk? Are there general principles to be followed or will each subject have to develop his own way of life in a dangerous world? Can states, businesses and individuals contribute to handle cyber risk in a participatory way, each one for their own part? On what terms?
The Conference - organised in the context of the Centre on Cybersecurity, promoted by ISPI in collaboration with Leonardo - was inspired by these and others questions. The works were opened by Roberto Baldoni, Deputy Director General of the Department of Information for Security (DIS), Presidency of the Council of Ministers; Giampiero Massolo, President of ISPI and Angelo Tofalo, State Secretary for Defence - with a video contribution by Roberto Viola, Director General, DG Connect, European Commission - and were attended by: Stefano Buschi, Risk Advisory, Deloitte; Giorgio Mosca, Cybersecurity Division, Leonardo and Cybersecurity Steering Committee, Confindustria Digitale; Gabriella Muscolo, AGCM - Competition and Market Authority; Fabio Rugge, Centre on Cybersecurity, ISPI and Stefano Venturi, Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
