Trafficking and supply chains security: the challenges facing Italy

The meeting falls within the initiatives of the ISPI Centre for Business Scenarios, which promotes analysis and activities concerning international scenarios directed to companies and institutions.

The purpose of the event is to encourage the dialogue around the best practices in the field of supply chains tracking adopted by relevant stakeholders, moving from the assumption that a better supply chains tracking benefits all the involved actors: the companies, since it ensures the quality and authenticity of their products; the consumer, who can be correctly informed about what she or he buys. Moreover, supply chains tracking is an important stronghold against illegal tafficking.

Which solution have the main manufacturing sectors found? What is the impact of the issue at the global level and what measures can be adopted to provide both the companies and the consumers with a safer and more transparent environment?

Representatives of the institutions and the private sectors, as well as experts in the field, have addressed these and many other questions during the online meeting, with the aim to raise the awareness of corporations and institutions about the importance of the contrast of the illegal trafficking, along with the promotion of the supply chains tracking both at the national and international level.

The event has been broadcasted on Facebook, Youtube and on the ISPI website.
