What future for Syria?

After seven years of conflict, the future of Syria remains uncertain, with several challenges ahead. Although IS has apparently been defeated and the Syrian regime has recovered strength and ground, power struggle, conflicting interests, sectarianism and violence continue to fuel the struggle. Starting from an evaluation of the key issues that can explain the situation on the ground and the evolution of current dynamics, the workshop aims to stimulate debate among policy planners, officials and experts on a long-term arrangement for Syria.
