La sicurezza delle Olimpiadi Londra 2012: problemi e minacce

25 July 2012

The London 2012 Olympics are about begin but a precise, non-sportive, issue is stealing the show: how to maintain the order for the whole duration of the event?

The Britannic security strategy has identified four different kinds of impeding threats: terrorism is the first one, either in its jihadist, nationalist or anarcho-insurrectionist manifestation.

Organized crime, domestic ex-tremism and natural catastrophes follow, also leaving room for cybersecurity threats.

The analysis aims at pointing out nature and extent of these threats for athletes, citizens and tourists attending the Olympic Games, while explaining criticalities and security measures taken by Bri-tannic authorities to cope with the Olympic challenge.
