The Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP) of the University of Pennsylvania has released the “Global Go to Think Tank Index Report” (13th edition) with Carnegie Endowment for International Peace as the leading think tank worldwide.
ISPI has further strengthened its position in most of the main global and sectorial categories, and for the third year running ranks 1st worldwide as the “Think Tank to Watch” in 2020, followed by Heritage Foundation and Brookings Institutions.
Moreover, ISPI ranks 15th in “Top Think Tanks in Western Europe”, and over the past five years it climbed 47 and 41 positions, respectively, in “Top 158 Think Tanks Worldwide (non-US)” and “Top 176 Think Tanks Worldwide (US and non-US)”.
ISPI ranks high worldwide also in the "special" categories. In particular:
- it ranks third for “Best Think Tank Conference 2019”, with the fifth edition of Rome MED;
- it ranks third – after Wilson Center and Brookings Institutions – for best collaboration with other think tanks;
- it ranks fourth as “Best Managed Think Tank”, after Peterson Institute, Brookings Institution and Korea Development Institute.
