The Middle East and North Africa Centre carries out research projects on political, economic and security issues in the region, exploring their linkages and fostering a policy-oriented dialogue about the future of the area. Among its core activities, the Centre publishes a quarterly Report on the Greater Mediterranean region for Italy’s Parliament and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, providing evidence-based analysis and policy recommendations. A specific country Desk is devoted to Iran. The Centre is involved first-hand in the organization of ISPI’s annual flagship conference Rome MED – Mediterranean Dialogues.
