Dr. Han is a member of the faculty of the Department of International Relations at İstanbul Kadir Has University, where he is also the advisor to the Rector and serves as a member of the board of EDAM, a leading independent think-tank. He is an adjunct faculty member of Turkish National Defense University Atatürk Strategic Research Institute and has served as the academic advisor to Armed Forces Higher Command and Control College for Joint Operations. He is a regular contributor to German Marshall Fund’s On Turkey Series.
Alberto Guidi is an ISPI Research Assistant at the Centre on Business Scenarios. He is the ISPI coordinator for the Task Force on “digital transformation” at the Think 20. He obtained a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Milano Bicocca, a Master in Political Economy of Europe from LSE and a Master in Specialized Economic Analysis from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. Additionally, he holds a postgraduate journalism diploma at the London School of Journalism. He is a researcher and journalist, regularly writing for Il Sole 24 Ore.

Alicia García-Herrero is the Chief Economist for the Asia Pacific at the French bank NATIXIS. She previously worked as an economist in the field of emerging markets for several banks. Dr García-Herrero also is an Adjunct Professor at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and Visiting Lecturer at China-Europe International Business School (CEIBS). She is also a Senior Fellow at Bruegel and a non-residential Member of the Spanish Think Tank Real Instituto El Cano.
Researcher at the Department of Asian and North African Studies of Venice “Ca' Foscari” University, Carlo Frappi is Associate Research Fellow for the Russia, Caucasus and Central Asia Centre at ISPI. Frappi, who holds a Ph.D. in European History, is also Adjunct Professor in Regional Studies at Catholic University of Milan and, since 2013, is a Member of the Board of Directors at the "Association for the Italian Study of Central Asia and the Caucasus" (ASIAC).
As Director of the Knowledge, Policy and Finance Centre (KPFC), Dr. Rabia Ferroukhi oversees the Agency's work on a range of renewable energy policy issues including design, socio-economic benefits and integrated resource management. Dr. Ferroukhi joined IRENA in 2011 and has over 20 years of experience in the fields of energy, development and environment. She worked in both public and private sectors, including with governments in the Middle-East and North Africa, energy companies in the Mediterranean region and the GCC, and international institutions. Dr.
Itxaso Domínguez de Olazábal is the Middle East and Maghreb Coordinator for The Observatory of Spanish Foreign Policy (OPEX) at Fundación Alternativas, a Spanish think tank. Her research focuses mainly on Mediterranean affairs and the Persian Gulf.
