Carole Nakhle is the Founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Crystol Energy. She is an international authority on global energy issues, in particular in the fields of policy, finance, market development, governance, regulation, fiscal regimes and contractual arrangements.
Francesca Morra is a lawyer at Paul Hastings and her practice focuses on energy and competition law. She has acquired material experience in the energy sector, where she has advised several market operators on contractual, regulatory and competition matters. Prior to Paul Hastings, Francesca used to work for other multinational law firms. Francesca holds a law degree (magna cum laude) from Federico II – Università degli Studi di Napoli and an LL.M (in competition law) from King’s College London.

Alessandro Minuto-Rizzo is a former ambassador and has held terms of office in Washington, Prague, Paris and Brussels. He has an extensive experience in European policies, aerospace, European structural funds, the European Space Agency, and international security. He has taken part and chaired a number of committees concerned with economic and industrial issues both in Italy and abroad, i.e., as Chairman of the Administrative and Financial Committee of the European Space Agency.
Luigi Martino (PhD) teaches Cyber Security and ICT Policies at the School of Political Science “Cesare Alfieri” at the University of Florence and he is the coordinator of the Center for Cyber Security and International Relations Studies (CCSIRS) a specialized observatory of the CSSII. He obtained the PhD at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa with a research project focused on the protection of critical infrastructures from cyber attacks in Italy through a public-private partnership model.
Between 1982 and 1993, Massimo Lombardini worked in the industry, mainly in the energy sector. In 1994, he joined the Directorate General of Energy of the European Commission where he worked on issues related to energy such as international relations, energy infrastructures, technology EU energy policies. In August 2019 he retired from the European Commission and since then he writes articles. He holds a degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Milan and a Master in International Politics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
