Lee Tsung-Ling is an Assistant Professor of Law at Taipei Medical University, Taiwan. Previously she was a research fellow at the Center for Biomedical Ethics, National University of Singapore. Lee Tsung-Ling’s research examines the various ways in which law is used to promote global health, with a focus on international health law.

Luca Lazzaroli

Luca Lazzaroli holds an Economics and Finance degree from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” where he also pursued his post-graduate studies after studying at the Georgetown University in Washington D.C. – USA. He is a Chartered Accountant (“Revisore Contabile” and “Dottore Commercialista”).

He spent the first four years of his professional career working for The Chase Manhattan Bank, in Milan and London, as a credit officer first, subsequently joining the corporate finance team.

Glada Lahn is a Senior Research Fellow in the Energy, Environment and Resources Programme at Chatham House. She has a background in Middle East studies and a special focus on economic and environmental governance in oil and gas exporting countries and in sustainable delivery models in humanitarian crises.

Yingqiu Kuang is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada. Her research interests include emerging economies and global technology governance in international political economy, with a focus on multinational corporations and technology standardisation in China and South Korea. She is a current Mitacs Research Fellow at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, working on Canada-China bilateral economic cooperation and technological innovation.

Jeff Kingston is Director of Asian Studies and Professor of History at Temple University (Japan campus). He is a Japan Focus associate.

He is the author of “Burma’s Despair,” Critical Asian Studies, 40:1 (March 2008), 3-43, several recent articles on East Timor, and Japan’s Quiet Transformation: Social Change and Civil Society in the 21st Century (Routledge, 2004).

Dhruva Jaishankar is Fellow in Foreign Policy Studies at Brookings India in New Delhi and the Brookings Institution in Washington DC. In this capacity, he manages Brookings India's activities related to international affairs and security. His research examines India's role in the international system and the effects of global developments on India’s politics, economics, and society, with a particular focus on India’s relations with the United States, Asia and the Indo-Pacific, and Europe.

Dr. Han is a member of the faculty of the Department of International Relations at İstanbul Kadir Has University, where he is also the advisor to the Rector and serves as a member of the board of EDAM, a leading independent think-tank. He is an adjunct faculty member of Turkish National Defense University Atatürk Strategic Research Institute and has served as the academic advisor to Armed Forces Higher Command and Control College for Joint Operations. He is a regular contributor to German Marshall Fund’s On Turkey Series.

Dimitar Gueorguiev is Associate Professor of Political Science in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, where he teaches courses on Chinese politics, comparative institutions, research methods, and globalization. Gueorguiev's research is on comparative state-society relations with a focus on authoritarian regimes and the Chinese political system.

Go Myong-Hyun is a research fellow at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies. Previously, Dr. Go was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, Neuropsychiatry Institute. His research applies quantitative perspectives to traditional and non-traditional security issues. Go's latest publications include "In China's Shadow: Exposing North Korean Overseas Network" (2016) and "The Prevalence of Deaths and Disease in Chongori Prison" (in Korean. 2017).
