China: 'Great' Foreign Policy with a financial and debt crisis

China's increasingly assertive regional and global foreign and security policies continue to hit the headlines. While Beijing insists that it will continue to 'rise peacefully' in and beyond the region, Washington, Tokyo and others in East and Southeast Asia increasingly doubt that Beijing's 'peaceful' foreign policy rhetoric will be followed-up by equally peaceful foreign and security policies.

The US and the Middle East. A new global engagement?

La Conferenza, promossa dall’ISPI e dal Consolato Generale degli Stati Uniti a Milano, in collaborazione con il FRIDE-Fondazione per le Relazioni Internazionali e il Dialogo (Madrid) e l’Institute for the US and Canadian Studies della Russian Academy of Sciences (Mosca), ha presentato la situazione sulla politica estera statunitense in Medio Oriente, anche alla luce della visita del Presidente Obama nella regione.

 

L'incontro si è tenuto presso la sede dell'ISPI (Palazzo Clerici - Via Clerici, 5 - Milano).

The US and the Middle East. A new global engagement?

The event, promoted by ISPI and the General Consulate of the United States of America in Milan in cooperation with FRIDE-Foundation for International Relations and Dialogue (Madrid), the Institute for the US and Canadian Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow) and the University of Cairo, will provide an insight on the US foreign policy in the Middle East after President Obama’s visit in the region. 

 

The Conference will take place next 27th March (5.00 p.m.- 7.30 p.m.) in Milan, Palazzo Clerici - via Clerici, 5.
