Counselor Fabio Rugge is a Senior Associate Research Fellow ISPI's Centre on Cybersecurity, in partnership with Leonardo. He is a diplomat currently working as Deputy Permanent Representative of Italy to the North Atlantic Council (NATO).
Alessandro Rubino is Lecturer in Economics at the University of Bari. Before completing his PhD in Energy Economics, he has worked at Ofgem as a Regulatory Economist. In addition, he has worked on the design and implementation of the incentive scheme for the national transmission system operator for gas and electricity. From June 2009 to July 2012, he has been a Research Assistant at the Florence School of Regulation (European University Institute) within the Robert Schuman Centre, a research unit specialised in applied economics.
Nicolò Rossetto is a PhD. student in Law and Economics at the Istituto Universitario di Studi Superiori (IUSS) in Pavia (Italy). His main research field is energy markets and their regulation, with a special emphasis on electricity and distributed generation. He also has a vested interest in European energy policy since he wrote his master's thesis about policy developments occurred under Prodi’s and Barroso’s terms in office (2010). At the moment, he is a teaching assistant of microeconomics and energy economics at the University of Pavia.
Frank A. Rose is a senior fellow and the co-director of the Center for Security, Strategy, and Technology in the Foreign Policy program at the Brookings Institution. He focuses on nuclear strategy and deterrence, arms control, strategic stability, missile defense, outer space, and emerging security challenges.
Francesco Rocchetti is the ISPI Secretary General.
Prior to that, he led the team that played a central role in building ISPI’s external profile and overseeing the brand and communications strategies, digital communications, and content marketing. He also worked on transforming the Institute's digital identity and promoting the think tank’s global presence and impact.
Francesca Robbiati is ISPI Head of General Services. She holds a Msc in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations from Bocconi University, Milan. After an internship at the DG for Human Resources at the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, she joined ISPI as Training courses programme manager. From 2005 to 2011 she was head of the ISPI School. From 2012 to 2019 she was Head for Operations and External Relations, in charge of staff management, economic planning and management control, supervision of extraordinary maintnance.
Stefano Riela is lecturer of Economics of European Union and Economic Prospects at Università Bocconi. He is coordinator of the course in EU Competition Policy and lecturer of Economic policies of EU at ISPI. He was Economic Advisor at the Italian Communications Regulatory Authority (AGCOM), faculty coordinator at NIBI (New International Business Institute, Milan Chamber of Commerce), Research Director at Fondazione ResPublica, and consultant of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs during the Italian Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2003.
Jaana is an economist and a partner at the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), McKinsey's business and economics research arm. Since 2003, she has led MGI’s research on productivity, urbanization, competitiveness, and growth. Her latest research maps the deployment of smart city solutions and sizes the potential benefits to urban citizens’ health, safety, commute times, and other factors affecting quality of life.
