Helin Yildiz is a Research Trainee for the MENA Centre at ISPI. She holds a Bachelor's in Political Science and a Master's in International Relations and EU Studies from the University of Bologna. During her studies she took part in exchange programs at the Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey and at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium; she was also visiting research student at the University of Central Florida (USA), where she conducted academic research for her thesis on the Kurdish-led governance in northern Syria and its geopolitical impact on the region.
Lucia Tajoli is Full Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Management Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano. Previously she was a Lecturer at Bocconi University and then an Associate Professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan. She received her degree in Political Economy in 1988 and a PhD in Economics from Bocconi University in 1994.
Giulia Sciorati is a Research Assistant at the ISPI Asia Centre, for the China Programme supported by Pirelli. Prior to that, she was a Visiting Fellow at the European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS) in Brussels and at the School of Politics and International Relations of the University of Nottingham. She holds a combined BA in Foreign Languages and International Relations from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, and an MA in African and Asian Studies from the University of Pavia.
