Carlo Mongini is a Research Assistant at the Europe and Global Governance Programme. He holds an MA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an MSc in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He writes for online journals and newspapers about European politics. Prior to joining ISPI, he collaborated with a US-based geopolitical consultancy as an expert on Italian politics and interned with an MEP in Brussels.

Nicola Missaglia is ISPI's Communications and Publications Manager, as well as a Research Fellow at ISPI's Asia Centre, in charge of the India Desk. Before joining ISPI, he has served for several years as the Scientific Coordinator and Managing Editor for the international think tank Reset-Dialogues on Civilizations. A career diplomat, Ambassador Massolo was the Coordinator of the Italian Intelligence Community (2012-2016), the Prime Minister’s personal representative (Sherpa) for the G8 and G20 Summits (2008-2009), the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2007-2012).
