Bruno Casella is senior economist at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Investment and Enterprise Division. His main areas of expertise include international trade and investment and their impact on global production, global value chains and development. Prior to joining UNCTAD, he was manager at McKinsey & Company, advising C-level clients of private and public organizations on strategy and business development. He holds a PhD in Statistics and a degree in Economics, at Bocconi University. He has published extensively in refereed academic journals and in specialized reports and books, in the areas of international business and economics, and statistics and probability.
