Corrado Molteni is ISPI Senior Advisor. He is Professor of Japanese Studies at the University of Milano. He is an economist by training and received his BA in Economics from Bocconi University and his MA and Ph. D. in Social Studies from Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo. From March 2007 to August 2017 he has been assigned at the Embassy of Italy in Tokyo as Academic and Cultural Attaché. Until September 2017 he has been President of Aistugia, the Italian Association for Japanese Studies. His areas of expertise are: Japanese Economy and Politics; Japanese Culture; History of Italo-Japanese Relations.
