Giulia Sciorati is a Research Assistant at the ISPI Asia Centre, for the China Programme supported by Pirelli. Prior to that, she was a Visiting Fellow at the European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS) in Brussels and at the School of Politics and International Relations of the University of Nottingham. She holds a combined BA in Foreign Languages and International Relations from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, and an MA in African and Asian Studies from the University of Pavia. During both degrees, she has been a visitor at the Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU). She is currently a Doctoral Researcher at the School of International Studies of the University of Trento. Giulia's areas of interest include Chinese foreign and security policy, China's counter-terrorism policy and China's relations with the post-Soviet space. She is a member of the Italian Association of Chinese Studies (AISC) and the China Soccer Observatory (CSO) of the University of Nottingham.
