Lucia Tajoli is an Senior Associate Research Fellow at ISPI. After a BA in Political Economy at Bocconi University, she specialised in Advanced Studies in International Economic Policy Research at the Institute of World Economics in Kiel (Germany). In 1994 she was awarded a Ph.D. in Economics with a dissertation on the relationship between international trade and economic growth.
Tajoli has worked for the Milan Politecnico since 1996 to 2001 as a Researcher, and now as an Associate Professor of Political Economy. She also lectures in MA and BA courses in Management Engineering and in MBA courses at the Politecnico School of Management.
Tajoli is also one of the teachers at ISPI Winter and Summer Schools. Finally, she works as a researcher for Cespri – Bocconi University and is a member of the Editorial Committee of the Istituto Nazionale per il Commercio Estero.
Her research interests are: European economic integration, EU enlargement and Eastern European history and politics.
