Luigi Limone is a Research Trainee for the Africa Programme. Before joining ISPI, he worked for the Secretariat of the Unit on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs at the European Parliament in Brussels. He graduated in Geopolitics and International Relations of Asia and Africa, with a major in Middle Eastern Affairs and Euro-mediterranean cooperation, from the University of Naples "L'Orientale". Additionally, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation from the University of Milan. His research interests include international migration and development, foreign policy, global security, South-South cooperation and geoeconomic transformation.
