Maria Mancinelli is Programme Manager of the Freedom of Religion or Belief & Foreign Policy Initiative at the University of Sussex, and part-time Assistant Research Fellow for the ‘Religions and International Relations’ Programme promoted by ISPI. A native of Akron, Ohio, she holds a BA in International Studies and Latin American Studies from Miami University and MA in Migration Studies from the University of Sussex, with a dissertation on the Humanitarian Corridors initiative in Italy. Her previous roles include Community Outreach Coordinator at the International Institute of Akron in the United States and Fulbright Scholar at the University of Uberlandia in Brazil.
