Martin Mowforth lecturers at the University of Plymouth in the UK. He is the author of "The Violence of Development"(2014) and co-author of "Tourism and Sustainability: Development, Globalisation and New Tourism in the Third World"(2009). His research touches a wide range of subjects, especially covering transport planning, tourism and sustainability, disaster management and issues of environment and development in the developing world.
