Michele Sorice is a Full Professor at Luiss University, Rome, where he teaches Democratic Innovation and Political Sociology. At Luiss University, Michele is also director of the Centre for Conflict and Participation Studies (CCPS), member of the Scientific Committee of the international PhD in Political Theory and Political Sociology and of the Scientific Board of the School of Government. Member of several national and international scientific societies, Michele has been Honorary Professor at University of Stirling, Scotland, UK. He has been teaching Media Sociology for 6 years at the University of Lugano, Switzerland, and was Professor at the University of Rome “la Sapienza”. Michele published several contributions in high-level academic outlets: he is the author of over 25 books and several articles. He is also the Scientific Director of the research group “Political Innovation and Democracy” at Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli, Milan, Italy (with L. Fasano and N. Urbinati) and member of the scientific boards of some important scientific journals.
