Tobia Zevi is Associate Research Fellow in charge of the Global Cities Desk of ISPI's Business Scenarios centre.
He has a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the Third University of Rome.
In 2017-2018 he was political adviser to the Italian Prime Minister, Mr. Paolo Gentiloni; before (2015-2016), he was adviser to the Italian Foreign Minister for International Cooperation and Human Rights.
Zevi is President of the Association of Jewish Culture Hans Jonas and of the association “Rome! Speak it loud”.
In 2013 he was candidate secretary general of the Democratic Party in Rome.
Between 2008-2012, he has worked for the province of Rome as Head of International Cooperation and Solidarity and as a member of the President’s staff.
Since 2006 he is a member of the global network “Jewish Diplomats” of the World Jewish Congress (WJC), and in 2017 he took part in the US Government’s program “International Visitors Leadership Program” (IVLP).
In 2013, he published his first book, "Il discorso di Giorgio," which examines the speeches of Italian President of Republic Giorgio Napolitano.
