Yingqiu Kuang is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada. Her research interests include emerging economies and global technology governance in international political economy, with a focus on multinational corporations and technology standardisation in China and South Korea. She is a current Mitacs Research Fellow at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, working on Canada-China bilateral economic cooperation and technological innovation. She has published a series of research papers on Canada-China clean-tech innovation and cooperation, Chinese state-owned enterprise (SOE) reforms, China’s digital revolution, and Chinese immigrant entrepreneurship in Canada.
