The future of the world will depend on the choices of its inhabitants. Us.
We face once-in-a-generation challenges: from the digital revolution to the protection of our planet, from the fight against inequalities to a rethinking of globalization.
Planet Needs Youth is an initiative launched by ISPI within the framework of the Italian Presidency at the G20 and which leads to the discovery of what each of us can do in the face of future challenges.
500 selected participants, 1 competition, and 40 finalists who attended the Interactive Summer Forum: these are the G20 Global Ambassadors for the future who participated in the G20 Simulation Game and the Think20 Summit in Milan from the 4th to the 7th of October.
The projects were selected by Fondazione Enel (Scientific Partner)’s and Esselunga (Partner)’s experts and ISPI’s research team.
G20 SIMULATION GAME: Ambassadors for the future
The creators of the 40 best campaigns were nominated G20 Global Ambassadors and took part in the G20 Simulation Game organized by ISPI.
The simulation offered ISPI’s 40 Global Ambassadors the opportunity to step into world leaders’ shoes and take center stage in a process that leads to the adoption of the G20’s Final Communiqué. The project was preceded by introductory sessions on the rules around procedure, negotiation, and public speaking, while the final document was discussed with a distinguished panel.
The 40 Global Ambassadors were also able to participate in the Think20 Summit (4th-6th October 2021). All participants will receive a participation certificate. The three best campaigns’ creators will receive free access to a diploma or a certificate from ISPI School.
The initiative is part of "EUver Green", a project co-financed by the European Union and in particular by the European Parliament, which among other things promotes the together.eu campaign, a community that aims to build a better future for the European Union through its members' active participation.
