Lucia Tajoli is Full Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Management Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano. Previously she was a Lecturer at Bocconi University and then an Associate Professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan. She received her degree in Political Economy in 1988 and a PhD in Economics from Bocconi University in 1994.

Stella Morgana is a PhD candidate at Leiden University. Her research explores contemporary Iran's transformations, with a specific focus on identity and labor. She holds a BA in Islamic Studies from University of Naples "L'Orientale", a Post-graduate diploma from LUISS University of Rome and an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from Leiden University. Her articles have been published in "IRAN - Journal of the British Institute for Persian Studies", "The Conversation/Huffington US", "EastWest", "Left", "il manifesto".
Sergio Miracola is an Associate Research Fellow at ISPI. He obtained his Ph.D. in Political History at IMT Advanced Studies of Lucca, Italy, with a dissertation on Chinese Strategic Culture. During his Ph.D. he has also been a Visiting Research Student at Peking University (BeiDa). Moreover, he is a Junior Researcher at CSCC (Center for the Study of Contemporary China) and a collaborator for the Italian online newspaper Cinaforum.
Erik Jones is Professor of European Studies and International Political Economy, and Director of European and Eurasian Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Professor Jones is author of The Politics of Economic and Monetary Union (2002), Economic Adjustment and Political Transformation in Small States (2008), Weary Policeman: American Power in an Age of Austerity (2012, with Dana H. Allin), and The Year the European Crisis Ended (2014).
Rowena He is author of Tiananmen Exiles: Voices of the Struggle for Democracy in China. She is currently a member at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, N.J. working on her next book on history, memory and nationalism in the post-Tiananmen China.
Serena Giusti is Senior Associate Research Fellow for the Russia, Caucasus and Central Asia Centre at ISPI. She teaches International Relations, Foreign Policy Analysis and Art and Politics at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (SSSA) in Pisa.
Maurizio Ferrera is ISPI Scientific Advisor for the Europe and Global Governance Centre. He is Professor of Social Policy at the University of Milan. He was Visiting Professor in several foreign universities, including the London School of Economics, UC-Berkeley, McGill, the Juan March Institute in Madrid and the EUI. He took part over the years to many Commissions and Working Groups set up by the Italian Government, the European Union, OECD and ILO.
