Leonid Nersisyan

Leonid Nersisyan currently is Head of Defence Studies Department at Armenian Research & Development Institute (ARDI), military analyst at REGNUM Information Agency, and Editor of New Defense Order Strategy magazine (Moscow). Regular author of analytical articles on topics related to Russian military weapons, domestic and international military-technical cooperation, armed conflicts, modern military equipment, nuclear and strategic weapons, the military-political situation in South Caucasus and detailed analytics about Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Luigi Martino

Luigi Martino (PhD) teaches Cyber Security and ICT Policies at the School of Political Science “Cesare Alfieri” at the University of Florence and he is the coordinator of the Center for Cyber Security and International Relations Studies (CCSIRS) a specialized observatory of the CSSII. He obtained the PhD at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa with a research project focused on the protection of critical infrastructures from cyber attacks in Italy through a public-private partnership model.

Edward Danks is a Content Producer at Asia House, a London-based think tank and advisory service. Having lived and worked in the UK, Japan, and Brussels, he has a strong knowledge of the UK and the EU, and their economic and strategic relationships with Japan and other Asian partners. Edward studied for an MSc in East Asian Relations at the University of Edinburgh and has been published in various think tanks and online journals.

Antisemitismo ed estremismo violento: una piaga che l'Occidente non ha ancora sconfitto

Questa analisi intende esaminare la natura dell’antisemitismo contemporaneo in Occidente, con particolare attenzione al suo ruolo in diverse forme di estremismo violento. L’odio contro gli ebrei continua a occupare una posizione rilevante, se non centrale, nell’estremismo violento di destra e nello jihadismo, giungendo persino a ispirare l’esecuzione di gravi attacchi terroristici, tanto in Europa quanto in Nordamerica. L’ostilità contro gli ebrei tende invece ad assumere un ruolo minore nell’estremismo violento di sinistra e anarchico.

Woman, Life, Freedom: An Iranian Critical Female Perspective

Iranian Millennials and Gen Z see great potential in the Woman, Life, Freedom movement as a way to break free from an authoritarian regime that has taken control not only over their bodies, but of every aspect of their personal lives over the past 43 years: Girls are obliged to wear a headscarf from the age of 9 or they cannot go to school. Iranian women are not allowed to sing, ride bicycles, swim in open water, enter the stadiums, get divorced, leave the country unless a guardian or husband approves.

US-China: Where Does Competition Lead?

In 2022, the US-China relationship went through several important shifts. First, the China-Russia relationship took on greater importance for US strategy, as the United States sought to ensure that Chinese backing for Moscow translated into as little practical support as possible. US policy towards Russia was also crafted with specific reference to the potential application of the measures pursued – such as financial sanctions – towards China too.
