Laureatosi presso l’Università di Genova con una tesi ad indirizzo storico, ha insegnato fino al 1992 presso la Facoltà di Scienze politiche della Luiss di Roma, approfondendo la storia dell’industria della difesa. Dal 1984 svolge attività di studio e consulenza nel campo dell’industria italiana aerospaziale sicurezza e difesa per conto di organismi pubblici, di società, di associazioni industriali, di centri e istituti di ricerca.

Rose Ngugi is the Executive Director of the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) and serves as the Secretary to the Board. She is involved in providing technical guidance and capacity building on policy and strategy formulation to the Government of Kenya and other stakeholders, with the overall aim of contributing to the achievement of national development goals. Before then, she was a Senior Advisor in the Office of Executive Director, Africa Group 1, International Monetary Fund, and Washington D.C. Dr.
Sergio Miracola has served as a Research Fellow at ISPI at ISPI. He obtained his Ph.D. in Political History at IMT Advanced Studies of Lucca, Italy, with a dissertation on Chinese Strategic Culture. During his Ph.D. he has also been a Visiting Research Student at Peking University (BeiDa). Moreover, he is a Junior Researcher at CSCC (Center for the Study of Contemporary China) and a collaborator for the Italian online newspaper Cinaforum.
Alessandro Minuto-Rizzo is a former ambassador and has held terms of office in Washington, Prague, Paris and Brussels. He has an extensive experience in European policies, aerospace, European structural funds, the European Space Agency, and international security. He has taken part and chaired a number of committees concerned with economic and industrial issues both in Italy and abroad, i.e., as Chairman of the Administrative and Financial Committee of the European Space Agency.
Yves Mény is a French specialist of the European institutions. Graduate in Law, he obtained his PhD in Political Science, he has been a Professor at many universities including Rennes, Paris, USA, Spain, Italy. He was the President of the Robert Schuman Centre in Fiesole, a department of the European University Institute in Florence untill 2010 and is currently President Emeritus of the European University Institute of Florence. He is Former Member of Jacques Delors Institute‘s Board of directors.
Rory Medcalf is the Head of the National Security College. He has more than two decades of experience across diplomacy, intelligence analysis, think tanks and journalism, including a formative role as Director of the International Security Program at the Lowy Institute. His research areas include Australia's security challenges, the further development of an Indo-Pacific concept of the Asian strategic environment, China-India relations, and prospects for maritime and nuclear stability in Indo-Pacific Asia.
Donato Masciandaro, born in Italy in 1961, from 2010 is Full Professor of Economics. From 2005 he holds the Chair in Economics of Financial Regulation, at Bocconi University. From 2013 he is Head of the Department of Economics; he was already Department Head from 2008 to 2010. From 2015 he is President of the BAFFI CAREFIN Centre for Applied Research on International Markets, Banking, Finance and Regulation; he was already Director of the Centre (2008-2014).
Alberto Martinelli is Professor (Emeritus) of Political Science and Sociology at the University of Milan, Dean of the Political Sciences Faculty (1987-1999). President of the International Social Sciences Council. Past President of the International Sociological Association. President of the Fondazione AEM. Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic; Gold Medal from the City of Milan; Member of the Lombardy Institute of Sciences and Letters; editorialist for Corriere della Sera.
Ambassador Carlo Marsili is ISPI Senior Scientific Advisor. He graduated in Political Sciences at the University of Padua and then took part in the military service in the Air Force section and thus enthered the Diplomatic Career in 1970.
