Marco Lanna got his Master in Architecture in Rome in 2008, and engaged right after in a PhD, promoting in 2014 with a thesis on vitality of urban spaces. Since 2010 he lives in the Netherlands and works at KAAN Architecten, where he leads complex urban projects. Since 2020 he sits in the office management.

Dr. Grace Jaramillo is currently a SSHRC postdoctoral fellow at University of British Columbia, Department of Political Science. She has been a professor at the Latin American Faculty for Social Sciences –FLACSO- where she was also the chair of the Department of International Relations from 2007 to 2010. As a former member of the Ecuadorian Council of Foreign Relations, she was member of the Carter Center’s initiative “The Bi-National Group for Dialogue” to promote peace and mutual understanding between Ecuador and Colombia.
Markus Virgil Hoehne is lecturer at the Institute for Social Anthropology at the University of Leipzig. Amr Hamzawy was a senior associate in the Middle East program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace between 2005 and 2009. Giovanni Grevi is a Senior Fellow with the European Policy Centre (EPC) in Brussels and a Senior Associate Fellow of ISPI. Before joining the EPC in 2016, he was the Director of the Foundation for International Relations and External Dialogue (FRIDE). Previously, Giovanni served as a Senior Research Fellow at the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) from 2005 to 2010 and worked at the EPC as Policy Analyst and Associate Director of Studies (1999-2005).
Giorgio Fruscione is Research Fellow and publications editor at ISPI. Before joining ISPI, Giorgio has been living for years in the Balkans, working as freelance journalist for several Italian and international media outlets, like EastWest, Venerdì di Repubblica and Balkan Insight. Since 2010, he has also been deputy director and news correspondent from the Balkans for East Journal.
