John J. Kirton is director of the G20 Research Group and the G7 Research Group, co-director of the BRICS Research Group, and co-director of the Global Health Diplomacy Program, all based at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at Trinity College in the University of Toronto, where he is a professor of political science and Canadian foreign policy.

Dr. Han is a member of the faculty of the Department of International Relations at İstanbul Kadir Has University, where he is also the advisor to the Rector and serves as a member of the board of EDAM, a leading independent think-tank. He is an adjunct faculty member of Turkish National Defense University Atatürk Strategic Research Institute and has served as the academic advisor to Armed Forces Higher Command and Control College for Joint Operations. He is a regular contributor to German Marshall Fund’s On Turkey Series.
Serena Giusti is Senior Associate Research Fellow for the Russia, Caucasus and Central Asia Centre at ISPI. She teaches International Relations, Foreign Policy Analysis and Art and Politics at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (SSSA) in Pisa.
Giovanni Giacalone was an Associate Research Fellow at ISPI. He earned a Master in Islamic Studies at the Trinity Saint David, with a dissertation on the development of Islamic communities in Italy. He is a sociologist and an expert on Islam. Giacalone is also a member of the Italian Association of Sociology, and in particular of its branch on religion. His main research fields are political Islam and Islamic radicalism in Italy, the Balkans, Caucasus and Malta.
Alice Gavazzi was Research Trainee for the Cybersecurity Centre at ISPI. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and she's attending a Master's Degree in International Relations and Security Studies at the University of Florence. Before joining ISPI, Alice worked as a Research Trainee for B.V. Tech S.p.A., conducting research on Computer Emergency Response Teams and Cyber and Information Warfare and working on the construction of a normative cybersecurity framework for the Lombardia region.
David J. Garcia Cantalapiedra holds a PhD in Political Science (Honors) by the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). He was awarded the 2001 National Award of Defense by the Spanish Ministry of Defense. He currently is Professor at the Department of International Relations of the Faculty of Political Sciences, and Director of the UCM Research Group for Security and Cooperation.
