Richard Fontaine is the Chief Executive Officer of the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). He served as President of CNAS from 2012-19 and as Senior Advisor and Senior Fellow from 2009-12. Prior to CNAS, he was foreign policy advisor to Senator John McCain and worked at the State Department, the National Security Council, and on the staff of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Mr.

Angelina Davydova is an expert on international and Russian climate and environmental policies, civil society movements and media. She is the director of an NGO "Office of Environmental Information', based in St.Petersburg, Russia. She is an environmental and climate journalist, regularly contributing to Russian and international media. She also teaches at St.Petersburg State University, The European University in St.Petersburg and the MARCH School of Architecture. She has been an observer with the UN climate negotiations (UNFCCC) since 2008.
PhD at the European University Institute of Fiesole (Florence), degree in Political Science at the University of Milan, director of Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso since 2006. From 2003 to 2008 she held lectures on 'Eastern European studies' at the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Bologna and has taught in other university courses in Italy and abroad. She has edited several academic publications and coordinated many research projects. Her research interests focus on civil society and the transnational social dynamics of post-communism.

Dr. Pavel K. Baev is a Research Professor at the International Peace Research Institute, Oslo (PRIO). He is also a Senior Non-Resident Fellow at the Brookings Institution (Washington DC) and a Senior Research Associate at the Institut Francias des Relations Internationales (IFRI, Paris).
Plator Avdiu is Researcher at the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS), a Kosovo-based think tank specialized in the security area. Since 2014, he is engaged in national and regional projects led by KCSS on the topics of police and defence integrity, Kosovo’s membership into Euro-Atlantic structures and international security organizations as well as on Horizon 2020 projects of the European Commission. He is author and co-author of several publications and research analysis of the KCSS on security and defence related topics.
