Giulia Sciorati

Giulia Sciorati is Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Chinese Studies at the University of Trento, working on a project investigating China’s relations with Central Asia. She also serves as Associate Research Fellow at ISPI Asia Centre, for the China Programme supported by Pirelli.

She earned a PhD in International Studies from the School of International Studies of the University of Trento in 2020. During her doctoral studies, she was a visiting researcher at the University of Nottingham and the European Institute for Asian Studies in Brussels.

His academic activities are focused on the cooperation and competition dynamics in energy security between the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation. Scott N. Romaniuk

Scott N. Romaniuk is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Security Studies at the China Institute, University of Alberta. His research focuses on China’s global security and military roles, China’s political, economic, and (cyber)security policies as well as the rise of security architectures in Asia, robotic systems in international security, and technology and the future of warfare.

Alberto Rizzi

Alberto Rizzi is a Research Assistant at the ISPI Centre for Business Scenarios. He holds a BA in International and European Studies and a MA in International Politics and Regional Dynamics from the University of Milan. He completed an Advanced Master in EU Economic Governance at the Institute for European Studies of the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Before joining ISPI, he worked at the Embassy of Italy to Estonia, at the Centre for Business Research of the Italy China Foundation (CeSIF) in Milan, and at the European Army Interoperability Centre (FINABEL) in Brussels.
