David Dollar is a senior fellow in the John L. Thornton China Center at the Brookings Institution and host of the Brookings trade podcast, Dollar&Sense. He is a leading expert on China's economy and U.S.-China economic relations. From 2009 to 2013, Dollar was the U.S. Treasury’s economic and financial emissary to China, based in Beijing, facilitating the macroeconomic and financial policy dialogue between the United States and China.

Thanos P. Dokos received his Ph.D. in International Relations from Cambridge University and has held research posts at the Hessische Stiftung Friedens und Konfliktforschung (1989-90) and the Center for Science and International Affairs (CSIA) at Harvard University (1990-91). He served as the Director for Research, Strategic Studies Division, Hellenic Ministry of National Defence (1996-98) and as an Advisor on NATO issues to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1998-1999). He was a NATO research fellow for 1996-98. He is currently the Director-General of ELIAMEP.
Admiral Di Paola was appointed Defence Minister in Monti Cabinet (November 2011 – April 2013). Previously, he served as Chairman of the NATO Military Committee (June 2008- November 2011), the highest military position in the organization together with the Supreme Allied Commander. He was the second Italian to have this role after Guido Venturoni.
From 2004 to 2008 he was Chief of Defense Staff of Italy.

Chiara Cervasio is a Doctoral Researcher at the Institute for Conflict, Cooperation and Security (ICCS), the University of Birmingham and a Nuclear Policy Analyst at the British American Security Information Council (BASIC).
Chiara has a background in Political Science, International Relations, and International Security. Before completing her BSc in 2014 at the University of Pisa, she has worked as an intern at the European University Institute, Fiesole (FI). She then obtained her MSc in 2017 from the University of Bologna, specialising in Politics of Contemporary Asia.
Ismet Fatih Čančar is a political-economic analyst from Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is currently the Partnership for Peace Fellow at NATO Defense College. He holds a BA in Economics from Sarajevo School of Science and Technology and the University of Buckingham, and an MA in International Political Economy from King's College London.
Dr. Pavel K. Baev is a Research Professor at the International Peace Research Institute, Oslo (PRIO). He is also a Senior Non-Resident Fellow at the Brookings Institution (Washington DC) and a Senior Research Associate at the Institut Francias des Relations Internationales (IFRI, Paris).
Plator Avdiu is Researcher at the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS), a Kosovo-based think tank specialized in the security area. Since 2014, he is engaged in national and regional projects led by KCSS on the topics of police and defence integrity, Kosovo’s membership into Euro-Atlantic structures and international security organizations as well as on Horizon 2020 projects of the European Commission. He is author and co-author of several publications and research analysis of the KCSS on security and defence related topics.
