Andrea Passeri is Research Fellow and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Bologna, where he teaches the course ‘Democrazie and Autoritarismi in Asia. His researches have appeared on prestigious international and Italian journals devoted to East Asian studies, such as Pacific Review, Korean Journal of Defense Analysis, and Rivista Il Mulino.
Gulshan Pashayeva is Deputy Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. She previously worked at the United Nations Office in Azerbaijan as National Programme Coordinator for the UN Women (UNIFEM) project “Women for ConflictPrevention and Peacebuilding in the Caucasus” (2001-2006), and as a Public Information Associate for the United Nations Department of Public Information (UNDPI).
Fabio Parola has served as a Research Assistant for the ISPI Centre on Europe and Global Governance. He currently is a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission, in the DG for Communication. From 2015 to 2018, he worked as a junior reporter for the Trento bureau of Corriere della Sera. After a bachelor in Political Sociology, he obtained a MA degree in International Relations and EU Studies from University of Trento and Metropolitan University Prague. He is president of Club Alpbach Trentino, a non-profit association promoting the European Forum Alpbach.

Eleanora joined IFAW in July 2016 and works from the Brussels office. She spent the previous eight years working on marine, fisheries and environmental issues related with the EU. With a background in biology, a master in biodiversity and European studies, she has worked for World Wildlife Fund, Pew Charitable Trusts, the European Parliament and the European Maritime Safety Agency.
Dr. Jagannath Panda is Research Fellow and Centre Coordinator for East Asia at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), New Delhi. He is the Series Editor for Routledge Studies on Think Asia.
Soli Özel joined Institut Montaigne as a senior fellow in June 2018. He is professor of International Relations at Kadir Has University in Istanbul, a fellow at the Robert Bosch Academy, and a columnist for the Turkish daily Habertürk. Since 2002, Soli Özel has also contributed to Project Syndicate on different occasions, commenting on Turkish politics. He served on the board of directors of International Alert and is currently a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations.
