Alfredo Sasso is a researcher who has specialized in contemporary history and social-political affairs of the (post)-Yugoslav region. Since 2016, he is a regular collaborator of Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso Transeuropa as analyst and news correspondent, particularly focusing on Bosnia-Herzegovina. He contributes to a variety of media, cultural and research organizations about contemporary history and post-Yugoslav area.

Dr Christopher Sabatini is senior fellow for Latin America at Chatham House, and was formerly a lecturer in discipline in the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University.

Peter Ryan is full Professor of Applied Security at the University of Luxembourg since Feb 2009. Since joining the University of Luxembourg he has grown the APSIA (Applied Security and Information Assurance) group that is now more than 25 strong. He has around 25 years of experience in cryptography, information assurance and formal verification. He pioneered the application of process calculi to modelling and analysis of secure systems, in particular presenting the first process algebraic characterization of non-interference taking account of non-determinism (CSFW 1990).
Maddalena Procopio is Associate Research Fellow at ISPI for the Africa Programme. She holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics. She is currently political analyst for sub-Saharan Africa at Eni.
Andrea Plebani is Research Fellow at the Catholic University of Milan, Lecturer of the Master in Middle Eastern Studies at ASERI and Associate Research Fellow at ISPI. He is a member of the Commission convened by the Italian Government to assess the threat stemming from radicalization and jihadist extremism in Italy. Before, he cooperated with the Oasis Foundation, the Insubria Centre on International Security (ICIS) and the Landau Network - Centro Volta (LNCV).
Fabio Petito is Senior Associate Research Fellow in ISPI and Head of the "Religions and International Relations" Programme promoted by ISPI and the Freedom of Religion or Belief & Foreign Policy Initiative (FoRB&FPI), University of Sussex - UK. He is Senior Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Sussex. He has taught at SOAS in London, the ESCP-EAP in Paris and at ‘L’Orientale’ in Naples.

Prior to to joining AllianzGI in 2020, Giulia was Head of EM Sustainable Investing and a Portfolio Manager at BlackRock since 2015. Previously, Giulia was Chief Economist for Sub-Saharan Africa in J.P.Morgan's EM Research team and a Junior Professional Associate (JPA) at the World Bank, in the Africa Finance and Private Sector Development Department in Washington D.C.
Fabio Parola has served as a Research Assistant for the ISPI Centre on Europe and Global Governance. He currently is a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission, in the DG for Communication. From 2015 to 2018, he worked as a junior reporter for the Trento bureau of Corriere della Sera. After a bachelor in Political Sociology, he obtained a MA degree in International Relations and EU Studies from University of Trento and Metropolitan University Prague. He is president of Club Alpbach Trentino, a non-profit association promoting the European Forum Alpbach.
