Peter Ryan is full Professor of Applied Security at the University of Luxembourg since Feb 2009. Since joining the University of Luxembourg he has grown the APSIA (Applied Security and Information Assurance) group that is now more than 25 strong. He has around 25 years of experience in cryptography, information assurance and formal verification. He pioneered the application of process calculi to modelling and analysis of secure systems, in particular presenting the first process algebraic characterization of non-interference taking account of non-determinism (CSFW 1990).
Counselor Fabio Rugge is a Senior Associate Research Fellow ISPI's Centre on Cybersecurity, in partnership with Leonardo. He is a diplomat currently working as Deputy Permanent Representative of Italy to the North Atlantic Council (NATO).
Fernando Reinares, Senior Associate Research Fellow at ISPI Radicalization and International Terrorism Centre, is director of the Program on Global Terrorism at Elcano Royal Institute and Professor of Political Science and Security Studies at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, both in Madrid, as well as Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Andrea Plebani is Research Fellow at the Catholic University of Milan, Lecturer of the Master in Middle Eastern Studies at ASERI and Associate Research Fellow at ISPI. He is a member of the Commission convened by the Italian Government to assess the threat stemming from radicalization and jihadist extremism in Italy. Before, he cooperated with the Oasis Foundation, the Insubria Centre on International Security (ICIS) and the Landau Network - Centro Volta (LNCV).
Fabio Petito is Senior Associate Research Fellow in ISPI and Head of the "Religions and International Relations" Programme promoted by ISPI and the Freedom of Religion or Belief & Foreign Policy Initiative (FoRB&FPI), University of Sussex - UK. He is Senior Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Sussex. He has taught at SOAS in London, the ESCP-EAP in Paris and at ‘L’Orientale’ in Naples.
Eleanora joined IFAW in July 2016 and works from the Brussels office. She spent the previous eight years working on marine, fisheries and environmental issues related with the EU. With a background in biology, a master in biodiversity and European studies, she has worked for World Wildlife Fund, Pew Charitable Trusts, the European Parliament and the European Maritime Safety Agency.
