Laureatosi presso l’Università di Genova con una tesi ad indirizzo storico, ha insegnato fino al 1992 presso la Facoltà di Scienze politiche della Luiss di Roma, approfondendo la storia dell’industria della difesa. Dal 1984 svolge attività di studio e consulenza nel campo dell’industria italiana aerospaziale sicurezza e difesa per conto di organismi pubblici, di società, di associazioni industriali, di centri e istituti di ricerca.

She is an expert in political ethnography, holding a PhD in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and MSc in Development Planning from the University College London (UCL). Dr. Nemat has firsthand experience in how it is to be a war refugee for fourteen years in Pakistan. However, she chose to rise above the situation by putting the focus on helping women and girls in her community and developing her career.

Luigi Martino (PhD) teaches Cyber Security and ICT Policies at the School of Political Science “Cesare Alfieri” at the University of Florence and he is the coordinator of the Center for Cyber Security and International Relations Studies (CCSIRS) a specialized observatory of the CSSII. He obtained the PhD at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa with a research project focused on the protection of critical infrastructures from cyber attacks in Italy through a public-private partnership model.

Andrea Manciulli is Senior Associate Research Fellow at ISPI. He is Head of Italy’s Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA, 2014-2018) and since November 2017 he is President of the NATO PA-GSM (Mediterranean and Middle East Special Group).
