Antonio Zotti

Antonio Zotti is a Research Fellow at ISPI. In 2012, he was awarded a PhD. in Politics and Institutions at the Catholic University of Milan where he is currently a lecturer in European Institutions. In 2010, he earned an MSc in Political Theory at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is WP8 manager within the 'GR: EEN - Global re-ordering' FP7 research project funded jointly by the European Commission and the University of Warwick.

Catherine Wihtol de Wenden

Catherine WIHTOL de WENDEN is Director of research at CNRS (CERI). For 30 years she has been a researcher on international migration, from a Political Science and Public Law approach. She studied in Sciences-Po Paris and University Paris I (Panthéon- Sorbonne) She got her Ph D in Political Science in 1986. She has published 20 books, alone or as co-writer and around 150 articles.

Nicole Van Der Meulen

Dr. Nicole S. van der Meulen has been working in the field of cybersecurity for over a decade. She is currently a Senior Strategic Analyst at the European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) at Europol. In that capacity, she functions as the Team Leader of the Strategy & Development team. Prior to her arrival at EC3, she was an Advisor of Security Affairs at the Dutch Banking Association. Previously, she led the cybersecurity part of the Defence, Security and Infrastructure (DSI) team at RAND Europe in Cambridge, UK, where she worked as an analyst.

Antonio Talia

Antonio Talia has spent 7 years in Beijing working as correspondent for an Italian news agency. He has authored reportages and features stories about jihadism in Indonesia, matchfixing in Singapore, protests in Hong Kong and money laundering between Europe and Asia. In 2012 he published I Giorni del Dragone (Informant), an ebook about the struggle for power within the CCP. 

He coauthors Nessun Luogo è Lontano, a radio program about international affairs on air on Radio24.

Valeria Talbot

Valeria Talbot is a Senior Research Fellow and Head of ISPI's Middle East and North Africa Centre, in charge of Middle East Studies. She also is a lecturer at the Master in Middle Eastern Studies in ASERI – Catholic University, and at the IULM University of Milan. She was ISPI scientific coordinator of Arab Trans, a FP7 funded research project on political and social transformations in the Arab World after the Arab uprisings in 2010-2011.

Lucia Tajoli

Lucia Tajoli is Full Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Management Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano. Previously she was a Lecturer at Bocconi University and then an Associate Professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan. She received her degree in Political Economy in 1988 and a PhD in Economics from Bocconi University in 1994.

Ghassan Salamé

Ghassan Salamé served as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative (SRSG) and Head of the UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), from 2017 until March 2020.
