Aldo Liga is Research Fellow for the MENA Centre at ISPI. He holds a Bachelor's in Political Sciences from the "Cesare Alfieri" (University of Florence) and a Master's in International Security from Sciences Po Paris. Since 2016, he has worked as freelance analyst, providing for policy analyses and research consultancies on mixed migration from Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East and North Africa and on the geopolitics of the MENA region for a wide range of actors (public institutions, think-tanks, and NGOs).

Michael Kugelman, Deputy Director of the Asia Program and Senior Associate for South Asia at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, DC, is a leading specialist on Afghanistan, India, and Pakistan and their relations with the United States. The editor or co-editor of 11 books, he has written for The New York Times, Foreign Policy, Foreign Affairs, and other publications, covering topics ranging from U.S. policy in Afghanistan to terrorism to water, energy, and food security in the region.
Matthew J. Kotchen is a professor of economics at Yale University, with a primary appointment in the Yale School of the Environment and secondary appointments in the Yale School of Management and the Department of Economics. He is a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). Professor Kotchen's research interests lie at the intersection of environmental and public economics and policy.
