Giuseppe Famà joined Crisis Group in March 2018. As Head of EU Affairs, Giuseppe Famà follows European Union policies and developments and coordinates relationships with its institutions, designing and implementing targeted advocacy strategies on conflicts covered by Crisis Group. He also undertakes research and analysis of EU foreign and security policy developments, and oversees the delivery of projects in the same areas.

Rogier Creemers is an Assistant Professor in Modern Chinese Studies. With a background in Sinology and International Relations, and a PhD in Law, his research focuses on Chinese domestic digital technology policy, as well as China's growing importance in global digital affairs. He is the principal investigator of the NWO Vidi Project "The Smart State: Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and the Law in China". For the Leiden Asia Centre, he directs a project on China and global cybersecurity, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Matteo Colombo is an ISPI Associate Research Fellow in the MENA Centre and junior researcher at Clingendael's Conflict Research Unit. He obtained a PhD in Political Studies at the University of Milan (NASP Consortium), with a thesis on the Twitter discourse about IS in Arabic. He holds a bachelor degree in Philosophy from the Catholic University of Milan, a Master in International Relations from Oxford Brookes and a Master in Middle East Politics from SOAS, University of London. He also holds a Master Degree in journalism at IULM University in Milan.

Chiara Cervasio is a Doctoral Researcher at the Institute for Conflict, Cooperation and Security (ICCS), the University of Birmingham and a Nuclear Policy Analyst at the British American Security Information Council (BASIC).
Chiara has a background in Political Science, International Relations, and International Security. Before completing her BSc in 2014 at the University of Pisa, she has worked as an intern at the European University Institute, Fiesole (FI). She then obtained her MSc in 2017 from the University of Bologna, specialising in Politics of Contemporary Asia.
Chiara A. Cascino was Research Assistant at the ISPI's MENA Center. She holds a BA in Modern Languages (English, Spanish and Arabic) from the University of Palermo and a MA in Arab and Islamic Studies from the University of Naples “L’Orientale”. She is also concluding a Master’s Degree in Economics and Institutions of Islamic Countries at the School of Government of the LUISS University, Rome. Her research interests focus on the history, institutions and society of Middle East and North Africa and the trends of contemporary Islam.
Amanda Bisong is a Nigerian national, with a background in Law (Bachelor/ Barrister in Nigeria) and a Master degrees in International Law and Economics (World Trade Institute, Bern) and International Trade Policy and Trade Law (Lund University). She is currently also pursuing her part-time Ph.D. on the topic of Regional Migration Governance (with a focus on West Africa) at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
She is woman, mother and entrepreneur with an international background, currently Head of Communications of AFV Beltrame Group, the most important Italian player in the steel manufacturing industry.
She believes in her Country, in the future that Italy deserves and in the next generations that will turn this future into reality.
Bai Shaima Baraguir is an independent scholar and a peace practitioner from the Philippines. Her areas of expertise include research, strategic planning, and conflict analysis. Bam has more than ten years of experience working on conflict in Southeast Asia. Her work on the Bangsamoro conflict includes being part of the Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law Team of the Government of the Philippines-Moro Islamic Liberation Front (GPH-MILF) International Monitoring Team (IMT) and the Conflict Management Team of The Asia Foundation-Philippines.
