Giovanni Carbone (PhD, London School of Economics) is Head of the ISPI Africa Programme and Professor of Political Science at the Università degli Studi di Milano. His research focus is the comparative study of politics, geopolitics and economic development in sub-Saharan Africa, with particular regard to political institutions.
Martina Calleri was Research Trainee for the Centre “Europe and Global Governance” at ISPI. She obtained a master’s degree in EU Politics focused on the role of the EU as a global actor from the London School of Economics and Political Science, with a dissertation on cyber security in the EU. Previously, she earned a Bachelor degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste. Finally, she project managed the 2017 G7 Youth Summit, in Rome.
Maria Bombardieri, PhD in Scienze sociali: interazioni, comunicazione, costruzioni culturali - Università degli Studi di Padova, dove è docente a contratto alla Laurea magistrale in Culture, formazione e società globale. È membro del Consiglio scientifico del Centro interuniversitario Culture, Diritti e Religioni - FIDR. Tra i suoi interessi di ricerca: moschee e associazionismo islamico, radicalizzazione e ISIS, branding islamico. Ha pubblicato Donne italiane dell’Isis. Jihad, amore e potere (Guida editori, 2018), Moschee d’Italia.
