Stefano Maria Torelli is Associate Research Fellow at ISPI. His research topics include International Relations of the Middle East and North Africa, Jihadist movements and the Kurdish question. He teaches History and Institutions of the Middle East at the University IULM in Milan and is the coordinator of the summer school on the International relations of the Middle East at ISPI. Since 2013, he has been the Scientific coordinator of the "Atlante Geopolitico Treccani".

Valeria Talbot is a Senior Research Fellow and Co-Head of ISPI's Middle East and North Africa Centre, in charge of Middle East Studies. She also is a lecturer at the Master in Middle Eastern Studies in ASERI – Catholic University, and at the IULM University of Milan. She was ISPI scientific coordinator of Arab Trans, a FP7 funded research project on political and social transformations in the Arab World after the Arab uprisings in 2010-2011.
Francesco Salesio Schiavi is Research Assistant for the MENA Centre at ISPI. He holds a Bachelor's in History and a Master's in History and Oriental Studies from the University of Bologna. He has successfully concluded the TOMidEast Summer School at the University of Turin, andhasrecently completed a Master in Middle Eastern Studies (MIMES) at the Postgraduate School of Economics and International Relations (ASERI), Milan.
Federica Saini Fasanotti is a Senior Associate Fellow at ISPI.
Andrea Plebani is Research Fellow at the Catholic University of Milan, Lecturer of the Master in Middle Eastern Studies at ASERI and Associate Research Fellow at ISPI. He is a member of the Commission convened by the Italian Government to assess the threat stemming from radicalization and jihadist extremism in Italy. Before, he cooperated with the Oasis Foundation, the Insubria Centre on International Security (ICIS) and the Landau Network - Centro Volta (LNCV).
Irene Pasqua is a Research Trainee for the MENA Centre at ISPI. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Development Economics and International Cooperation from the University of Florence and she is completing her Master Degree in Environmental Economics and Development at the University of Bonn. Irene previously worked as Research Assistant at Action Research for CO-development (ARCO), a Research Spin-off of the University of Florence. During her stay in Germany, she was employed as Student Assistant within the MENA interdisciplinary cluster at the German Development Institute.

Docente di Globalizzazione e Relazioni Internazionali e di Storia contemporanea del Nord Africa e del Medio Oriente presso il Dipartimento di Scienze Sociali ed Economiche (DISSE), Università di Roma La Sapienza. Inoltre, è non resident senior fellow presso l'Atlantic Council.
